About this product

To effectively dim the lights with this transformer, a dimmer is required. You have two options: you can purchase a low voltage magnetic dimmer from your local Home Depot, or opt for our smart control dimmer. With our smart dimmer, you gain the convenience of controlling the lights directly from your phone. This includes turning the lights on and off, as well as adjusting their brightness from 0 to 100%. Moreover, if you have multiple transformers, such as for the front yard and back yard, you can manage them all through the same app. This means you can control each transformer individually or group them together for synchronized operation. Additionally, our smart plug feature enables you to schedule the lights to automatically turn on and off at set times every day. Crafted specifically for use with dimmable lights, this durable smart dimmer offers outdoor convenience. Adjust your outdoor dimmable lights remotely using the dedicated app or effortlessly command them via voice with Alexa or Google Assistant. (Dimmer function requires lights to be dimmable; maximum 4 Amp.) With an IP64 weather resistance rating, this Kasa Smart plug is safeguarded against dust and water splashes, ensuring reliability outdoors. Benefit from enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity, covering distances of up to 300ft with stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity.

Installation & limits

Ruben is not a licensed contractor. Installation is quoted only for jobs whose total cost — parts, labor, and everything else — stays under $1,000 and needs no building permit (California B&P 7027.2, 7048).

Anything that needs a permit, a licensed trade, or that can't be done safely gets referred to a licensed contractor. Price alone never qualifies a job.
