About this product
Keypad 2 NFC unlocks a compatible Nuki Smart Lock via PIN code (up to 200 time-limited codes), fingerprint (up to 20 stored fingerprints), or Tap to Unlock using a digital key in a mobile wallet. When paired with a compatible Nuki Smart Lock connected to Apple Home or Samsung SmartThings via a Matter hub, it supports Apple Home Key and Samsung Digital Home Key for instant wallet-based unlocking; without a hub, NFC unlocking still works through Nuki App Mode. End-to-end encryption protects every tap, fingerprint scan, and code entry using the same protocols as mobile payment systems. It installs in minutes, is IP-54 rated for outdoor use, and runs up to 12 months on a single set of batteries.

Installation & limits
Ruben is not a licensed contractor. Installation is quoted only for jobs whose total cost — parts, labor, and everything else — stays under $1,000 and needs no building permit (California B&P 7027.2, 7048).
Anything that needs a permit, a licensed trade, or that can't be done safely gets referred to a licensed contractor. Price alone never qualifies a job.
